What is This?

This is a project setup to explore the connections between a person and their clothing. Basically, you pick what I should wear from anything I own and I wear it no questions asked. Pictures of me wearing the outfit will appear on the site.

How Do I Participate?

1. Browse the catalogue linked on the left.
2. Add items to the cart that you would like worn.
3. Send the cart to checkout.
4. Wait for the outfit to appear on the site.
5. Reflect on how this changed the world.

Why Did You Do This?

I’m interested to see what might happen. Would my friends dress me in the outfits I normally wear when I meet them? Would they purposely dress me in all yellow to spite me? (luckily, I don’t think I have yellow pants) What would strangers do? I think the selection of clothing you have is very much a part of you so I wanted to see how far separated from my own self image/how people perceive me by leaving the choice of what to wear in someone else’s hands while still being limited by the clothes that person owned. As with any experiment, there will be unexpected results and my observations and thoughts will be posted in the blog (the front page of the site).

1. Explore the connections between a person and their clothing.

2. Give the world another outlet to think and be creative.

3. Show the world that clothing is not mere vanity, but a challenge of design and imagination, an engineering complication and an important form of expression and interaction with other human beings.
