I have installed a blogging engine and made significant changes to the Gallery! Now, when you want to pick clothes, you can select “add to cart” at the bottom of the large images and fill a cart with desired items. When you “checkout”, the cart’s contents will be sent to me!

I’ve spent the last few days turning this idea into a real project. I’ve catalogued about 70% of what I own. I also go this snazzy new domain name to go with the project. yfyf.org stands for “Yi Fu Yi Fu” which means “clothes clothes”. It does not mean “yiff yiff” which would mean “naughty things with animals”. There’s still a lot more work to do, but I am looking forward to what path this project might take.

Idea – What You Wear (website)

An online catalogue of all the clothes I own. Tell me what to wear – in ANY combination you want. It would be updated a few times a week with a picture of me wearing the outfit. It sounds dumb and narcissistic, but Iâ€™m interested in seeing what happens. Would my friends dress me in the outfits I normally wear when I meet them? Would they purposely dress me in all yellow to spite me? (luckily, I donâ€™t think I have yellow pants) What would strangers do? I think the selection of clothing you have is very much a part of you so it would be interesting to see how far separated from my own self image/how people perceive me by leaving the choice of what to wear in someone elseâ€™s hands.
